Shakori Hills Grassroots Festival

One of the larger local festivals in Silk Hope, Chatham County, twice annually in Spring and Fall. This year from Thursday Oct. 6 through Sunday Oct. 9.
Over 50 bands, vendors, crafts, workshops, camping available. Three stages including the large dance tent with wood floor.
Schedule Thursday 4:30-11:30 PM, Friday 9A-1A Sat 9A-1A Sunday 10A-10P.
Of interest to dancers Zydeco, Salsa, and Swing workshops. Donna and the Buffalo playing Zydeco. Ellis Dyson with country swing.
