Dancing Folk Contra Dance

Dancing Folk events on irregular Mondays and the group also holds non dance events eg singing or games. Donations are solicited but not specified. Dances are designed to be child friendly and shorter than normal contra dance. Web . 

JANUARY 12, 2026 – Scarf & Scone Dance.  All genders are invited (not required) wear a scarf for the dance. You are also invited to bring scones (purchased or home baked) to share with our refreshing refreshments after the dance.  Musicians will be the Rolling Tones (David DiGiuseppe, accordion and Jared Kirkpatrick, piano) with calling by Emily Rush. We’ll start setting up at 5:30 for a light potluck with finger food. 6:30 dance lesson. 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm dancing. 8:30 – 9:30 clean up and connect with refreshing refreshments.
