Naturist Ecstatic Dance

A clothing optional ecstatic dance for embodied freedom and radical self-expression. Come dance without judgment in the nude. In affiliation with the Carolina Young Naturist Association. A consent-centered, non-sexual dance space. No talking and no shoes on the dance floor. No phones, photos, or recording. Further information and tickets here.

The dance wave is a form of ecstatic dance characterized as 90 minutes of speechless improvisational dance based somewhat on the 5 Rhythms Ecstatic Dance concept of Gabrielle Roth. This can be either solo dancing, partner dancing, contact improvisation, or ad lib group. The experience can be meditative or spiritually oriented for some individuals.
