UNC Music Dept presenting a free concert with Charanga Carolina, a UNC sponsored ensemble that combines local Latin musicians with students in the Music Dept. Charanga is a very danceable style of music from Cuba that plays music similar to Salsa with strings and flute. Also on the bill is Gamelan Nyai Saraswati, a Javaneese ensemble that plays traditional music from Java, Indonesia. Free.
