DJ Abuelo Salsero, creator of this Dance Gumbo site, will be kicking off a new Salsa Venue, on the outside patio. Lesson at 9:30. Dance 10. Free. There are outdoor heaters, bar and bandstand, but there will be cancellation if persistent rain. This is my favorite eatery with a great menu and the restaurant is set in a refurbished two story country log home in the Daniel Boone Historic Park just off I-85 at the Hillsborough exit 164. It is 20 minutes from North Durham and 15 from Chapel Hill. Dance mix will be typical Abuelo of at least half Salsa with Bachata, Kizomba, Merengue and a few Cha Chas and Cumbias. Facebook .
