SUMMARY:Raleigh Ecstatic Dance
DESCRIPTION:The dance wave is a form of ecstatic dance characterized as 90 
 minutes of speechless improvisational dance based somewhat on the 5 Rhythm
 s Ecstatic Dance concept of Gabrielle Roth. This can be either solo dancin
 g\, partner dancing\, contact improvisation\, or ad lib group. The experie
 nce can be meditative or spiritually oriented for some individuals. Option
 al consent workshop at 6:30 PM. Dance opening circle begins roughly 7 PM. 
 Donations accepted but not required. Dance sometimes occurs on Fridays ins
 tead of Thursdays. Dance sometimes occurs at Raleigh Rose Garden or other 
 locations\, including indoors during the winter. Dance is outdoors and wea
 ther dependent\, but will usually occur during light rain. See Raleigh Ecs
