SUMMARY:LAC Monday Contact Improv Jam
DESCRIPTION:Living Arts Collective Monday jams seek to create a SAFE\, FRIE
 NDLY\, and CONSCIOUS container for exploring Contact Improvisation through
  open jamming.\n\nToni Craige\, Bru Roze\, and Aubrey Griffith Zill will b
 e hosting the space. There will be a bit of extra emphasis on orienting fo
 lks to our jamming culture through discussion in the opening and closing c
 ircle and through the content of the beginner lab. The bulk of the event i
 s for free play and jamming without formal instruction. There will just be
  a Contact Improvisation class\, rather than a jam with a beginner lab on 
 some Mondays that are not the last of the month.\n\n\nAll levels are welco
 me. Beginners are strongly encouraged to attend the Lab at 6:30. Informal 
 labbing and peer-to-peer teaching is welcome (with consent) at the jam.\n\
 nMONDAY BEGINNER-FRIENDLY CI LAB\nSpace opens at 6:15\nLab 6:30-7pm\nFREE!
 \nThe Labs are guided by a rotating cast of advanced CI dancers in our com
 munity. Dancers of any level are welcome to drop in\, and we especially ho
 pe that beginners and those newer to the form will attend. The teacher wil
 l provide mentoring and instruction in CI techniques as well as answer que
 stions to orient beginners to our LAC jamming culture.\n\nMONDAY JAMMING\n
 Space opens at 7:00\nInformal warm-up 7:00-7:15\nOpening circle promptly a
 t 7:15\nSliding Scale $10/15/20\n\nSound will vary ~ some jams will be wit
 hout music\, some may have a bit of ambient recorded music\, and occasiona
 lly\, we may invite some musicians to jam with us. We will post our sound 
 plans the day of the jam on Facebook\n\nRegister to secure your spot!\n
