DESCRIPTION:The Friday events are concerts with Zydeco Band Cedric Watson a
 nd Rich and Rosie Stringband. Facebook .\n\nBelow are the full festival de
 tails:\n\nHoppin’ John Festival at Shakori Hills in Chatham County this 
 year with various concerts\, dances\, music competitions\, workshops from 
 Thursday through Saturday.\n\nMuch of the theme will be traditional Americ
 an string band music with music competitions\, square dance\, and clogging
 \, but also Zydeco and Forró\n\nFor dancers there will be a Friday Night 
 Zydeco concert and dance with Cedric Watson from Louisiana. There will be 
 a Forró lesson and dance on Saturday 6:45 PM. What is Brazilian Forró (c
 heck it out Here ). There will be various square dances through the fest
 ival and workshops and performances for clogging and flat footing.\n\nWeek
 end passes and individual day tickets available with a deadline of Sep. 9 
 to purchase advance discount tickets.\n\nThe full schedule is pending but
