DESCRIPTION:Hoppin' John Festival at Shakori Hills this year with various c
 oncerts\, dances\, music competitions\, workshops from Thursday through Sa
 turday.\n\nMuch of the theme will be traditional American string band musi
 c with music competitions\, square dance\, and clogging\, but also Zydeco 
 and Forró\n\nFor dancers there will be a Friday Night Zydeco concert and 
 dance with Cedric Watson from Louisiana. There will be a Forró lesson and
  dance on Saturday 6:45 PM. What is Brazilian Forró (check it out Here ).
  There will be various square dances through the festival and workshops an
 d performances for clogging and flat footing.\n\nWeekend passes and indivi
 dual day tickets available with a deadline of Sep. 9 to purchase advance d
 iscount tickets.\n\nThe full schedule is pending but will be posted to web
