DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\n\nFree Event by Audrey Fowler MacInnes and Heather Ch
 apin\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPlease join us for an outdoor dance at Whi
 ppoorwill Park in Durham. We will be in the small shelter inside the playg
 round fence.\n\nWe want to create an environment that allows parents to da
 nce with each other and friends\, while their children are close by. There
  may be some co-parenting between friends to allow this to happen! And the
  playground will hopefully provide some entertainment to the children when
  they tire of dancing and/or watching dancing.\nWe welcome those who are c
 hild free! Just be aware of the possibility that someone's child could int
 errupt your dance\, either directly by asking you a question or indirectly
  because your current dancing partner's child has taken off towards the wo
 ods and they must run!\n\nFind us inside the fence at the playground. Ther
 e are bathrooms available just on the other side of the parking lot.\n\nTh
 is is a first come\, first serve shelter: pro is that it is free for us\, 
 but we must hope no other large groups are there using it.\n\nTBD (but wil
 l be a mix of swing\, blues and blues fusion!)\n\nLet us know if you would
  like to DJ at this or any of our future events!\n\nEver been curious abou
 t DJ-ing? This is the best place to start because it is super low stress! 
 All you have to do is have music you like to dance to\, be able to make a 
 playlist of your favorite songs on your preferred app\, and be able to con
 nect to a speaker via bluetooth (we have a speaker available\, but you are
  welcome to use your own if you prefer). It is generally a good idea to sp
 rinkle in a mix of lower-energy songs for breaks between higher-energy son
 gs and that's about it!\n\nDon't have enough favorite songs to make your o
 wn playlist? No problem! Just comment here the names of your favorite swin
 g/blues/fusion tunes and our friendly DJs can incorporate some of them int
 o their playlists (with enough heads up)!\n\nWe will have dances in April 
 and May. Dates and locations TBD. Once we know\, links will be here.\n\nLe
 t us know if you can help organize or DJ future park dances.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
