Friday event is at Glen Eden Pilot Park, 1500 Glen Eden Dr. Raleigh and will replace the usual International Folk Dance event.
Saturday’s events are at Pleasant Green Community Center, 4966 Pleasant Green Community Center Rd. Durham (Dont confuse with Pleasant Green Rd)
All instruction is with Michael Ginsburg, renowned Balkan Dance teacher from New York City who also plays in the band at this event, Cherven Traktor. Friday Workshops at Glen Eden from 7-9:30 PM with request dancing for 30 minutes before and after.
Saturday workshops from 10AM to 4 PM with a lunch break. There will be a potluck meal from 5:30-7 and then a dance party from 7-10 featuring the band Cherven Traktor. the workshops are $17 each or $43 for all three. There is a suggested donation of $20 for the Saturday event. Details . Website .
