SUMMARY:Shakori Hills Grassroots Festival
DESCRIPTION:Spring and Fall music and dance festival in Chatham County with
  multiple bands and genres. There are a few bands geared to partner dancin
 g and there are several dance workshops in swing\, salsa\, and zydeco in t
 he Dance Tent. Donna and the Buffalo play Zydeco. Onyx club boys do gypsy 
 jazz swing. There is an ecstatic dance style dancewave and a contact impro
 visation workshop. Other bands include string bands\, international\, Amer

 ll signal to map your way home late at night on the country roads. Just re
 member “RRLRL” which for a dance follow is a step-hop on the right foo
 t and a triple step. Right out of the lot\, right onto Emerson Cook (just 
 remember Einstein’s E=MC squared\, 2 O’s)\, left at end\, right onto H
 wy 87\, and depending upon your destination left onto 64E. Just dance your
  way home!\n\nThere will be a drop off location near the front gate and th
 e Tea Tent will have a monetary donations box for grassroots relief effort
 s\, with a focus on mutual care for impacted communities of Hurricane Hele
 ne. A separate supply run organized by ecstatic dancers focusing on debris
  clearing remote areas will be leaving from Shakori after it ends\; Facebo
